Some cares are always necessary to guarantee the success of the surgery. They are so important how the procedure in itself. To follow some basic orientations, that must be indicated by the doctor:

 - It is recommendable that the patient walks during short periods, being able to go to the bathroom, to    take bath normally, right way  after surgery
 - In pain case, to use the analgesic that was indicated by the surgeon. In case that pain persists, to get    in touch with the doctor.
 - If to feel unwell, giddiness, nauseas, to evidence fever, to get red areas or exaggerated swells that do    not get better, to contact the medical surgeon.
 - To come back to the doctor's office for after operative control and evaluation of the results in the    established days and time.
 - The nutritional diet is guided and to release by the doctor and/or nutritionist.

P.S.The orientation below is only a reference, can be varied as the protocol of the surgeon and must be followed “rigorously”:

 - In general, the diet, during the hospital admission, only consists of the related liquids below, in the    average amount of 50ml, intervals of 20 the 30 minutes, to the sips:
 - Mineral water
 - Clear teas
 - Coconut’s water
 - Gatorade
 - The adhesion of the patient the nutritional diet is essential to prevent complications as fistula    (disruption of the cramps), stenos is (closing of the anastomosis), among others.
 - It is necessary to carry through consultation with nutritionist periodically, to guarantee loss of weight    healthy, preventing nutritionals deficiencies.
